Better at Home – Program
Campbell River Better at Home is a program of Senior Support of North Vancouver Island, with funding provided by the Province of British Columbia and administered by United Way British Columbia.
The Better at Home program helps seniors manage day-to-day tasks by offering select basic, non-medical services. The services help seniors maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes while staying connected to their community.
Campbell River’s Better at Home program operates in the Campbell River region only. Catchment boundaries are from Duncan Bay Road to the North and Jubilee Park Freeway to the South.
The Better at Home program provides light housekeeping, friendly visiting, transportation and grocery shopping assistance.
