We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director for SSNVI, Dayna Forsgren.

Dayna is an experienced nonprofit leader with over ten years in strategic leadership, program development, and cross-sector collaboration within the social services sector. She brings a strong track record in guiding organizational growth and continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making, financial oversight, and alignment with community needs and funding priorities.

Over the past three years, Dayna has led the creation, coordination, and facilitation of the Comox Valley Situation Table. In this role, she demonstrated an exceptional ability to build and sustain strong partnerships with diverse groups, including boards, community stakeholders, and funders. Her work reflects a deep commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe service environments. Prior to this, coordinated the Comox Valley Coalition to End Homelessness and spent seven years with Thrive Social Services, managing programs for adults and youth with disabilities facing barriers to employment and access to services.
