Volunteers are the ❤️ of Senior Support

Sign up to volunteer today & Join our Community of Caring

The work of Senior Support North Vancouver Island would not be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers who generously donate their time, energy and expertise.

Almost all our programs, events and services are delivered by volunteers. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities for people of all ages within each of our programs and Board of Directors. You can make a difference in a senior’s life by becoming a volunteer.

As a volunteer, you will provide regular contact for an isolated senior, encourage activity, or assist with accessing resources in the community. Descriptions for volunteer positions in the Comox Valley can be found here. Descriptions for volunteer position for Campbell River can be found here. Most assignments typically take just 1-2 hours a week and can be arranged to suit your schedule.

All volunteers are required to be at least 16 years of age, must fill out the application, attend a training session and complete a Criminal Record Check. SSNVI volunteers receive a thorough orientation, ongoing education opportunities and become part of our community of caring.

For more information on volunteering opportunities or to apply for a position, please fill out the volunteer form or contact us at 250 218-3011 in the Comox Valley or in Campbell River 250-202-3374. We would love to hear from you!
